Asaduddin Owaisi opposes Women’s Reservation Bill over ‘no quota to Muslim women in the bill’ – The Economic Times Video
Talking about the Women’s Reservation Bill introduced by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal in the first sitting of Lok Sabha in the new Parliament building on September 19, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi pointed out a flaw that there was no quota for women Muslims. “…Who do you represent? Representation should be given to the unrepresented. The major flaw in this bill is that there is no quota for Muslim women, so we are against it,” said Asaduddin Owaisi.
