The Congress paid lavish tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary with party leader Mallikarjun Kharge hailing him as not just an individual, but an ideological and moral compass of the country.

In a Hindi post on X, Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi remembering him as the man who showed people the path of truth, non-violence, reconciliation and a united India.
