Prime Minister of Norway Defends Country’s Use of Fossil Fuel
Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store of Norway refused to commit to a date to discontinue the use of oil and gas.

I believe this century is a century of phaseout of oil and gas. But I have been against setting a date, which is not, we are not secure that you have the alternative that can keep households, economists, industry and those who have nothing at all. Now, I believe that the change here will have to become from the demand side, and it cannot be by having political decisions to cut the supply side. You know, there will be by the end of this decade, you will have very good business arguments for not investing in oil and gas, and rather investing in solar, wind, hydrogen, these new sources — this will come.
