According to the portal, The Vaccine War recorded 10.17% occupancy in Hindi on Thursday. The film was reportedly made on a budget of around ₹10 millions.

The Hindustan Times review of The Vaccine War said: “At 2 hours 40 minutes, the film is a bit long for the story it purports to show. The first half is boring, especially when the ICMR and NIV try to find a middle path to conduct various tests on the new virus. The second half gets better. While this is primarily a one-sided narrative in which the media is blamed for pushing a negative narrative against the vaccine, it is also a scathing commentary on the system and its flaws.
