Vandals cause $50,000 worth of damage to war memorial in Victoria

It is believed the offenders visited the memorial on Seville Road in Seville, in Melbourne’s east, between 4.30pm on Thursday, September 14 and 10.30am on Friday, September 15.

The monument consists of eight glass panels of approximately 3.5 meters in height.

It is believed criminals attacked two panels, causing damage estimated to cost $50,000 to repair.

Police are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone who has CCTV in the area.
