Cassie smiles in first sighting since settling Diddy lawsuit

Cassie looked carefree and radiant in her first public sighting since settling her bombshell lawsuit against ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The singer, 37, smiled as paparazzi caught her walking on the sidewalk to her car in her hometown of New London, Conn., on Monday afternoon.

Cassie was dressed casually in a gray sweatshirt, matching sweatpants and chunky sneakers.

She let her naturally wavy hair blow in the wind and seemed to sport little-to-no makeup for the outing.

In one hand, the songstress carried a bright pink puffer jacket and a boxed game of Twister, among other belongings.

In the other was the hand of her daughter Frankie, who turns 4 next month.

Cassie and her husband, Alex Fine, are also parents to 2-year-old daughter Sunny.

The “Me & U” hitmaker — born Casandra Ventura — certainly seems to be in better spirits than Combs, who appeared downcast in his first pubic sighting over the weekend.

The rapper-turned-producer, 54, looked stressed and solemn as he hid his face in his hands while sitting outside his Miami home on Saturday.

The music mogul, who was dressed casually in a T-shirt and sweatpants, was seen alongside his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram.

At one point, Khorram showed Combs something on her cellphone before he decided to lie down on his outdoor couch.

The Bad Boy Records founder was later spotted taking a long phone call while pacing around his estate.

On Thursday, Ventura sued Combs for $30 million, alleging he had subjected her to years of sexual, physical and mental abuse throughout their 13-year relationship, which ended in October 2018.

Combs “vehemently denie[d] these offensive and outrageous allegations” and insisted Ventura was simply “seeking a payday.”

By Friday, the pair had reached an out-of-court agreement.

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Ventura said in a statement. “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

Combs echoed the sentiments, saying, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”

The duo disclosed no details about the terms of their settlement. However, Combs made sure to add that “a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing.”
