SESSION SUMMARY – 27 overs, 60 runs and no wickets. Another fairly slow and sedate session for South Africa but they didn’t bowl badly. The pacers actually bowled tight lines for most of the session and kept the scoring rate down but the major issue was the lack of wicket-taking being created. And, when the chance did come the catch was dropped which could be costly. They need to pick themselves up and show more intent when they come out after the interval if they are to make inroads late in the day.
