Mononym Sakura is ready to pin back her bangs and show us how to get her signature K-Pop glow. But first, can you spot the two odes to her name sitting front-and-center in her bathroom (her name literally means cherry blossom in Japanese)?
First, the singer and actor sets the mood with an adorable mushroom candle. Her routine is filled with products from clean K-Beauty brand Primera (she refers to the Hydro Glow Treatment Essence as a “strawberry milk” toner that she turns into a sheet mask during the cooler months with cotton pads to really help with her dry skin type) and a surprise American treat—the Rhode Beauty Peptide Lip Treatment.
As she walks us through the differences between Japanese, Korean, and American beauty looks, the Le Sserafim star shares her trick to getting “wow, your skin looks so pretty” comments: Painting on combination of her foundation and concealer with a flat foundation brush. It’s a light makeup day compared to when she’s performing, but the glow is still there. And what’s her secret to contouring or perfectly sloped lashes? You’ll have to watch the video to find out.
Once she’s finished, the bangs go back in place and she’s ready to go. Bye (and kawaii)!
