Tucker Carlson Still Doesn’t Know Why He Was Fired From Fox

Tucker Carlson expressed that he is not angry with Fox News for his surprise firing in April and said that he wants the company.

The exchange took place on Friday’s edition of the Stay Free by Russell Brand podcast on Rumble where Carlson opened up about his quick departure from the media outlet and his latest venture on Twitter. A clip from their conversation started circulating on Twitter via The Post Millennial.

Carlson was fired from Fox News in April, which, along with to Don Lemon firing from CNN on the same day, shook the media world.

On Thursday’s show, Brand asked, “How are you doing personally and how does it compare to when you left MSNBC in terms of the emotional impact it had on you?”

“This is not the first time I have been fired. And I think in our business, when you work for a big company in media and you know, you say what you think, there’s an expectation that you can be fired,” Carlson said.

“So I’ve always had that, and I’ve always tried to take the long view, not just on media, but on life. All graves are not visited in the end. I always think that. I was surprised — I never thought I’d get fired that morning in April. So I’m shocked, but I’m not really shocked and I’m not mad. This is not my company. And when you work for someone else, that person has the right, and in fact has the inherent right to decide whether you work there or not,” he added.

Carlson added that months later, she still hasn’t been told why she was fired from the company.

“I don’t know why I was fired. I really do not want. I’m not mad at it. Believe me or not, but I think you will feel that I am not. You know, I like Fox,” Carlson said.

He even mentioned a series of behind-the-scenes clips of him and personal text messages that were mysteriously leaked in the weeks after he was ousted from Media Matters and the New York Times.

“There was a nasty leak, you know, I’m a racist or whatever they leaked or someone there leaked to the New York Times, but that’s not true. And I think the people who run company that that’s not true, I don’t think they did it. And I’m not mad at it. And I’ve been happy,” Carlson said.
