According to a report from Peeping Moon, while the exact reasons remain unclear, speculation over creative differences and budgetary concerns point to an end to the partnership. The report states that the end of their partnership left their films completed, including Anushka Sharma’s. Chakda Xpress, a biopic on cricketer Jhulan Goswami and Vijay Varma and Triptii Dimri Afghan snow, in a state of uncertainty about the output. While production is complete, the fate of these projects hangs in the balance. Reports suggest that Clean Slate Filmz is considering purchasing the films from Netflix to explore alternative distribution platforms.
Netflix India recently announced a range of Indian content. However, the omission of Shakda Express And Afghan snow raised concerns, exacerbated by a broken link to the card reserved for Anushka Sharma’s film and halted post-production of Afghan snow.
Similar incidents happened earlier with Abhishek Bachchan’s chairman. Bob Biswas and Abbas Mustan Attica, where Netflix withdrew support for post-production. While the first found a release on Zee5, Attica remains in the dark.
